Aerial Yoga - Level 1

Experience the amazing sensation of letting go and releasing into the support of a soft aerial hammock.

With a focus on poses, transitions, and building strength and flexibility this class will allow you to release tension and focus your mind.

No prior skill or fitness level is required as you can use the hammock as a prop for modifications as well as exploring more challenging poses.

All aerial class passes are non refundable and non transferable

Cancellation Policy: There is a 12 hour cancellation policy for all aerial classes due to limited number of hammocks. Late cancellations / no show will forfeit that aerial pass.

 

Intro to Aerial Yoga

This class integrates the aerial hammock with a traditional yoga flow class.

The hammock is used as a prop to:

  • support standing and balancing poses

  • develop upper body & core strength

  • relax into backbends with more ease

You will learn to fly, hold and balance, while improving mind-body awareness.

This class is built for the beginner to learn the basic poses and get used to the hammock.

Aerial Fusion

In this vigorous, up beat class you will defy gravity with a blend of Yoga, Pilates, Barre and suspension fitness performed with aerial silk hammocks.

Hammock Hangout

Grab a friend or two and come play in the hammocks before going out for the evening.

We will start with a fun, 30-minute flow. The remaining 30 minutes are for you to hop in and explore various poses in an open studio environment.

Tips Before Your First Visit

  • Bring a yoga mat. You will still need your mat under your hammock.

  • Leave the jewels at home – bracelets, earrings, necklaces, watches, and even zippers are at risk of getting hung up in the fabric.

  • Arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time so we will have time to match you up to the hammock that best suits your height. Otherwise you may get stuck with a hammock that is too high or too low.

  • Wear long pants that aren’t too baggy and a shirt with sleeves. The fabric can feel a little harsh on your skin until you become more used to it.
