Floating Yoga at The Richmond Community Pool

SUP Yoga, also known as Standup Paddle Board (SUP) Yoga - is simply yoga on a Standup Paddle Board! SUP Yoga is a peaceful and fun way to take your practice outdoors and onto a floating mat.

What to expect

Marie will guide you through a practice that starts slowly, letting you get used to the floating surface. You will then move into a more dynamic flow before slowing down to cool off with restorative postures and the greatest Savasana you’ve ever experienced (truly!). Sky above you, water below you, surrounded by nature, wind and sun … What could be more blissful?

What to wear

We enter the pool before getting on the board, so make sure to wear something you can move easily in and are not afraid to get wet! We recommend bathing suit shorts.

Plan to wear something you can be wet in and still move comfortably. Bring a towel and a change of clothes. There are bathrooms/changing rooms on site.
